Being the curious soul that I am, I crave new ideas and in my search I stumbled upon www.ted.com TED is the Technology, Education, Design seminar that has become an annual event in California. The website has videos of speakers who share thier ideas on the world. The talks cover a huge range of topics and offers a chance to discover viewpoints that you have never even imagined before…
Go ahead, learn something… i dare you ![]()
What can I really say about Tool… If you listen to them you either love them or you don’t. I love them. The complexity of the beats and the undulations of the rhythms entrance me.

I have just updated the front page of my domain briankeever.com
The site is currently running on WordPress but that is subject to change in the future. I decided to use it for now out of expediency but I recognize that it is not the most appropriate tool for the task. I have exactly zero experience with web development prior to launching this site but I do have a very solid grounding in computer science and am learning the new tools and techniques relatively quickly.
Now, if you will excuse me, I have to go work through some WordPress tutorials!
A: None, therefore I will be posting with renewed vigor.
In the past month and a half I have been very busy working on a number of projects and ideas but I have allowed the site to fall behind… again.Â
More to follow… really, i promise!

This is my third day of my first visit to Alaska. I am here in Anchorage visiting the head office of the engineering firm that i work for. I am helping prepare for our AutoCAD upgrades. The weather has been pretty nice here and the people are friendly. I haven’t had much time to go exploring on this trip, but it has been a pleasant experience anyway. I will be flying home to Seattle tomorrow night and will post some photos this weekend.
I joined the Association for Computing Machinery (www.acm.org) today. In addition to my membership, I also subscribed to their online training library. The training library contains hundreds of courses on IT related topics and keeps a record of my training history. Included in the training library are courses on Web Design tools, which if you have seen the current state of my main page, are going to come in very handy!
So, I finally have my blog up. I have several different projects that I have been working on recently and I look forward to sharing some of my interests via this site.
Welcome to my world…
